Warm-Up routines are great for spotting where your technical weaknesses lie. You can then work on these in isolation and quickly strengthen them. But, do you avoid warming up because you're not sure what to begin with or what may be effective?

As a rule avoid playing with the pads or the very tips of your fingers aim for the sweet spot in-between. Prioritise accuracy over speed. Hold the notes for the full value.
